Planned 2024 Capital Improvements/Projects at Angelfish Cay

Replacement of Anchor Drive Hedge

The existing hedge along Anchor Drive had become increasingly affected with disease and was not bouncing back despite the ministrations of our Brightview team. Further, electric trenching planned for the island between our parking lot and Anchor Drive made replacement a logical choice. A Dwarf Firebush has been selected as a hardier and more attractive alternative and is scheduled to go in toward the end of January..

Upgrade to Metal Fender Pilings along Seawall

Repair of the wooden fendet pilings has become more difficult due to the ageing condition of their fasteners and the availablility of skilled carpenters willing to work with them. Lower maintenance, sturdier metal and rubber fender pilings will replace the existing wooden ones with a sturdier attachment to the seawall cap. Expect those to be installed in February

New Cart Charging Stations

New cart charging posts will be added along the Anchor Drive face of the Parking lot on its west end in January.

New Paver Area for Additional Cart Parking

Reimagination of the unimproved hedges at the east end of the parking lot will allow a new paver pad to offer extended cart parking with charging stations along our property line with AC 6.

Upgraded Pool Entrance from Parking Lot

The entrance to the pool breezeway is getting a makeover with crushed shells and re-mounting of our anchor.

Upgrade Flooring Trial at Pool Entry/Owners' Area

Turning our attention to the pool entry breezeway, our worn epoxy faced common space flooring will be replaced with a trial of an alternative floor covering such as tile (recently added at the Spa and the Yacht Club), Look for a trial of tile flooring in the pool entry breezeway and take the survery to weigh in on your thoughts.
